Explore emoji, Japanese text faces and ASCII art by category, copy expressions in one click and build a personal favorites list.
A face, a symbol or a little drawing
KawaiiEmoji brings together emoji, Japanese kaomoji and ASCII art in collections you can browse by mood or theme. The English edition keeps the original expressions while making the navigation and explanations easier to use in English.
You can explore a category, copy a card in one click and return to your favorites when you need an expression again. No account is needed for the local favorites feature.
Explore three kinds of collection
Emoji collections group pictographic symbols by theme. Kaomoji collections focus on text faces, feelings and gestures. ASCII art collections contain text drawings that need their spaces and line breaks preserved.
Copy the original text
Click or tap a card to copy its content. The English version changes labels and descriptions, but it preserves the expression itself. Japanese words and artist signatures that are part of an original piece remain in the copied text.
For a longer drawing, paste in a monospace font and check the spacing. A one-line face is a convenient alternative when a chat app does not preserve the layout.
Save what you use often
Tap the heart on a card to add or remove it from your favorites. The list is stored in your browser and shared by both language versions. It does not automatically sync to another device, and clearing browser storage removes it.
Understand the mood behind the face
The guides explain eyes, cheeks and gestures, with examples you can copy. Start with the meanings guide if you are new to kaomoji, or browse happy, crying, surprised and shy faces to find the tone you need.
Make a message feel like you
Use expressions as accents alongside your words. A small smile or a carefully chosen decoration can make a message more personal while keeping it easy to read. Check the result in the receiving app, since fonts and emoji artwork can vary.
